Tall Ship ‘T S Pelican of London’

A 3-masted Sail Training vessel with steel hull and steel masts, aluminium and wood spars.  Underwater she has beautiful sailing ship lines and her rig is a modern adaptation of a ‘Xebec’ which was a highly successful North Atlantic pirate fighting ship of the 16th and 17th centuries.  Originally built in 1946 for long distance fishing from France, in icy waters, she finished a long conversion into a very modern sail training ship; Pelican can operate worldwide and has the most modern standards of safety throughout
