Hamble-le-Rice is the take off point of choice for yacht charter in the Solent. Hamble is simply a yachting mecca.  With 5 marinas in the river it is simply packed with yachting traffic and during the summer the village is crowded to overflowing with a vibrant sailing atmosphere.

Made famous as the fictional village of Tarrant in the BBC television series Howards Way, Hamble retains its picturesque village appearance.

The Solent is 20 mins away offering one of the busiest, most varied, most interesting, sailing waters in the world. With it’s combination of rapid tides, rivers, sand banks plus unpredictable weather make for challenging conditions and fascinating events for new and experienced sailors alike.
